Jax paints on site when she visits St.Mawes; she has visited for many years and often stays in “our cottage”, painting on the nearby Tavern beach. She loves the view to Place and the sculptural Tavern tree that sits on the edge and frames the view to Carrick Nath and st. Anthony’s. 

Jax leaves the paintings she has created, whatever the weather, with The Square Gallery. Jax works with oils on board or daler. 

When Jax is not in St.Mawes, she lives in East Sussex where she teaches art and is involved in community art projects and also works with the figure and her drawing is very accomplished.
